The Nigerian Police Force FCT Command, in abidance with its implacable exertion to rid the Federal Capital Territory of criminal activities, has apprehended 11 suspected kidnapping kingpins operating along with Kwaita-Kwali, Kuje, Bwari, and Karshi areas.
Nigerian Police apprehended the suspects following credible intelligence gathering, from the Command’s Anti-Kidnapping Squad which led to a coordinated swoop on these areas and success recorded by the corps.
ASP Mariam Yusuf, the Nigerian Police Public Relations Officer FCT Command in a statement, confirmed the arrests, she said, “The suspects confessed to being involved in kidnapping activities, the supply of logistics to kidnappers and cattle rustling”.
The arrested suspects involve Bissalla Dallatu 31yrs, Danladi Sule 29yrs, Yau Tukur 30yrs, Mati Umaru 30yrs Dikko Adamu 30yrs,and Usman Abdullahi 30 yrs.
Others include Abubakar Usman 55yrs and Abubakar Abdullahi 25yrs; all of them are masculine.
Items recovered from them are one unregistered Bajaj motorcycle, a cash sum of three hundred and N340,000, and one techno phone.
In another development, Police Officers from Karshi Division rescued a 10-year old kidnap victim, tracked and apprehended the suspects connected to his abduction along the Angwan Boyi-Karshi area on 5th December 2020.
The PPRO explained, “The suspects are: Lalo Bode 24years, Dahiru Aliyu 20years and Rabo Yusuf 20years all males who confessed to the crime and other criminal activities along the Karshi axis.
“While stating that the FCT Command will not rest on its oar in ensuring the safety of lives and property within the FCT, the Command wishes to reassure residents of a hitch-free Christmas/Newyear celebration”
