work team of Dr. Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi, and media adviser.

Through this article, we proceed in our conversation about the Libyan media, and the challenges of the next stage by knowing the duty, and what is necessary in the context of a turbulent arena dealing with the variables. It is important for the Libyan media to shake off its dependency on suspicious capital that works against the stability of the Libyan society in order to establish values and Concepts that accelerate and participate in the community to map political, social, and cultural horizons free from adran and sediments of the February 2011 catastrophe.

The media in contemporary society is one of the most important pillars on which the state relies on its systems and is diverse because it produces a media situation different from the situation prevailing now …

This calls for liberating the media from the pragmatic forces that feed sedition, increase the size of conflicts within society, and make the media in an extended system to be a tool to serve the people, and to adapt their efforts to become an effective authority in the hands of the masses that express their concerns, and their aspirations This framing needs to A deep understanding of the media landscape today, which has become difficult to isolate it from the influences of external media, and its patterns, which requires it to develop strong and solid information information that mixes public and private media with conditions that are in line with the requirements of the stage we are looking to have as a goal of building trust, and Social harmony.

Our enhanced feeling of dissatisfaction with what is going on in the current media landscape has occurred as a result of the apparent ignorance of those who accidently set themselves to be the makers of Libyan media work. This party has a media network that is pouring gasoline on the fire, and igniting social crises without awareness; Or logic, then they are all the three who are arrogant and unconscious, which today heads through satellite channels, and social media networks raise money at the expense of the higher interest of the Libyan people.

In the language of definite identification, talking about the Libyan media through various means, traditional, thorny, and extremely difficult, however, touching that is no longer difficult to understand the media, a prominent role in the process of consolidating political, social and security stability, the aforementioned will lead us to sound The depths of the influence of the media in facing societal challenges. The demand for success in this regard without recognizing its rules and foundations is illogical, as every societal action has rules for implementation on them, namely security, politics, and economics. Journalistic work does not take place in a vacuum, and here the challenges will intensify. Between the desire to support freedom of the media with ethical controls and standards, and between the media’s fanatics and perpetuating the stalemate that we are experiencing today.

The only way to produce a strong media system is to get rid of traditional management methods that are ignorant of the simplest alphabet of media work, free media workers from fear, and politicians step in to be a hand of social control.

But this path is fraught with risks, and it will collide with many obstacles that will dissolve, and fade if the previous accumulations are trapped, and know the weaknesses, and the defect to address it by appropriate methods.

In this context, we will address three main issues of the advancement of the media sector; Or define the capabilities inherent in supporting the political and social stability process, and I believe that some of its effects will be transferred to the next stage unless it is dealt with wisely, and academic awareness of research …

*Security Challenges: Over the past five years of the February Nakba period, there have been many cases of kidnapping, killing of media workers, and exposure of others to unprecedented directives, which results in the production of an environment that is not suitable for media work, as the intruders on the media scene have been swept by those who They lack experience, competence, and academic qualification if we are facing a major challenge, which is providing security in society in general, which will be reflected on media workers, and this will free them from pressure, and release their creative energies that are expected to have A major role in motivating society to respond to a radical change in the level of cultural and cognitive structure.

*Political challenges: This raises the necessity of having a behavioral officer to practice politics in the public sphere in a manner that enhances the presence of a suitable climate to deal with society’s issues in the media, and away from imposing pressures on media workers in various means, and the latter must be governed by a moral professional officer who must not be neutral On him, so the class organizes the path in its direction, and their goal is to maintain the cohesion of society, unify its internal front and how the potential dangers are externally, and internally.

The foregoing needs to have laws regulating the two areas, and perhaps the most important of them is the Law to Protect Mediaists, which enables you to prevent potential violence against them. We have seen through the failed chaos that there are many Libyan media outlets operating according to the financier’s agendas without regard to social responsibility towards the people of the homeland, and With this, the media has become a mere tool to implement what the financier’s approach requires in order for the media to turn into hollow propaganda media that does not receive much interest in spreading awareness of concepts among members of society, and here it should be noted that the media should not turn into tribal platforms; Or regional disintegration of society, and the accumulation of its problems; Or contribute to the production of new societal crises that we must create a national media that serves the community and reflects its reality.

*Economic challenges: material abundance may lead to the emergence of many media outlets, and the accumulation of a new number of workers in this field, but the concerns crystallize in the inability of these institutions to continue, and therefore will have new problems that they have a negative impact on the performance of work The media as a result of the lack of job stability, and experience has shown that some media workers contributed to igniting discord, and problems between members of society in exchange for money This results in a decline in the positive role that is required to be done before by contacting. Therefore, the work of the media must be organized to obtain the best results on the professional and ethical level, and expand to include social responsibility. Without enforcing the desired contribution of the media to the life of Libyan society.
