It was clear that Pashinyan would unleash a military confrontation in order to stay in power

A little more than a month has passed since the beginning of the active phase of the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. During this time, the National Azerbaijan Army liberated in whole or in part four of the seven regions occupied by Armenia, located in the vicinity of the Nagorno-Karabakh region of the Republic of Azerbaijan. According to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, in a month the Armenian Armed Forces lost about 5 thousand people, 256 tanks, more than 50 infantry fighting vehicles, hundreds of artillery pieces, six S-300 installations, about 40 Osa air defense systems and so on.

Baku has repeatedly declared its commitment to the peaceful settlement of the conflict, actively participated in the negotiation process under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group. In turn, Yerevan regularly resorted to provocations in order to maintain the status quo. As a result, Azerbaijan was forced to move to more decisive measures to restore its territorial integrity.

When Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan came to power in Yerevan, it became clear that the negotiations were finally under the threat of collapse. Very soon everyone understood that an uncontrollable person was at the head of Armenia. By the way, fulfilling the assignments of his Soros masters, Pashinyan did everything to destroy strategic cooperation with Moscow, which supported Yerevan not only on paper, but also in practice.

Having severed the established contacts with Russia for years, the Armenian prime minister took a course towards rapprochement with the West. But even there they soon became convinced that Pashinyan was inadequate. That he never became a statesman, remaining essentially a newspaper editor-in-chief and blogger. As a result, a $ 400 million contract with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the implementation of the project for the development of the Amulsar gold deposit was disrupted.

Untold promises and populism did not help him to bring Armenia out of a deep economic and social crisis, which is entirely dependent on outside help. After all, it is no secret to anyone that the Armenian government has been begging for financial assistance from the diaspora, international financial organizations and other structures for years. That every year the demographic situation in the country is deteriorating. According to official statistics, the population of Armenia is 2.9 million people. And according to information from non-governmental organizations, this figure is lower.

Nikol Pashinyan exchanged his northern neighbor for his western colleagues, considering them close, despite the geographical remoteness. And when the Armenian Armed Forces, illegally located in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, began to suffer a crushing defeat, he again appealed for help to the Kremlin, which he himself had previously betrayed.

It was highly expected that Pashinyan would unleash a military confrontation just to stay in power. This was facilitated by his statements that Karabakh is Armenia, and the words of Defense Minister David Tonoyan that Yerevan is ready for a new war in the name of conquering new territories.

To our great regret, the useless military leader Pashinyan turned his guns against the civilians of Azerbaijan inhabiting the regions and cities located at a great distance from the combat zone itself. That is, far from the occupied Azerbaijani territories. The actions of the Armenian army and Pashinyan, who gave orders to shoot at civilians, are characterized internationally as war crimes against civilians. The shelling of the cities of Ganja and Barda, Terter and other districts resulted in the death of 91 and wounding of 400 civilians of Azerbaijan. The General Prosecutor’s Office has initiated about 50 criminal cases on the facts of war crimes against the peaceful Azerbaijani population. This is an indicator that Pashinyan is no longer trying to hide his essence as an international terrorist from the world community.

These shelling of peaceful cities from the territory of Armenia is carried out purposefully. In order for the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan to strike back, and then Yerevan could turn to the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization for help. Pashinyan called President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin several times over the course of one week, to which the Russian leader said that hostilities were being conducted on the territory of Azerbaijan. That is, the CSTO in this case cannot be drawn into the conflict.

Armenia is known as a mono-ethnic country located in a region where various peoples live. At the state level, Yerevan is pursuing the Nazi policy of Hitler’s fascist henchman Garegin Nzhdeh, to whom a monument is erected in the center of the Armenian capital.

Azerbaijan is known for its multinationality, tolerant attitude towards representatives of various religions and peoples. Baku stands for intercultural dialogue, pursues a free and well-adjusted policy with various states both in a bilateral and multilateral format. A warm and trusting relationship has long been established between Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Vladimir Putin.

Over the past years, Azerbaijan has developed not only energy cooperation with its partners, not only strengthened its national army. Baku paid great attention to integration into the world space both in the political and economic, as well as in the sports, cultural, scientific spheres, thus creating not only mutually beneficial partnerships, but also forming for itself a powerful legal foundation of relations with both partners and allies. …

During the First European Games held in Baku in 2015, President Aliyev personally presented a silver medal to Gevork Manukyan, an Armenian athlete from Ukraine. By the way, 25 athletes from Armenia participated in these Games. This is an indicator of the absence of xenophobia in Baku. Despite the 30-year conflict with Yerevan, more than 30 thousand Armenians live in Azerbaijan. Thus, in early October in Ganja, an elderly Armenian woman was injured during an artillery shelling from the territory of Armenia.

Today Azerbaijan leads the Non-Aligned Movement, which includes 120 countries. That is, Baku is trusted by representatives of 120 states that have signed the decisions and declarations of the organization, which recognize the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan. By the way, Indonesia, Niger, Vietnam, Tunisia, South Africa, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the Dominican Republic, who are non-permanent members of the UN Security Council, members of the Non-Aligned Movement, did not allow the adoption of an anti-Azerbaijani statement in the UN Security Council on October 19 this year.

Baku is the most important regional hub, which plays an important role in the implementation of such global projects as North-South, West-East, etc. That is, unlike the aggressor Armenia, Azerbaijan acts in the name of the development and prosperity of countries in different regions of the world.

President Aliyev claims today that Baku is an adherent of the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. That the Azerbaijani soldier is not fighting against the Armenian population. That we are seeking the withdrawal of the occupying Armenian troops from our territories. That Azerbaijan does not want someone’s blood to be shed. That we liberate our lands on our own, without involving third parties. But what is Pashinyan calling for, ready to arm, train and send any representative of the Armenian diaspora to war?

The growing poverty, endless economic problems, it is not excluded, may in the near future one huge wave hit the Armenian government, provoking a civil and social crisis. And it would be good only for those in power, but after all, ordinary people suffer primarily from wars. If the people do not stop the lawlessness, do not deprive their support of the leader who has lost confidence, it is not difficult to guess what may eventually happen to such a state.
