The most wanted criminal gang leader in Benue State, Nigeria, Terwase Agwaza, surrendered this past Tuesday, September 8.
The criminal popularly known as “Gana” turned himself in, following the amnesty programme by the state government.
The wanted criminal surrendered in Katsina-Ala township stadium in Katsina Ala Local Government Area of Benue North.
At the time of this report, Gana was being conveyed to the state’s Government House in Makurdi, the state capital, where he would be received by the state Governor, Samuel Ortom, and other government dignitaries.
A bounty of N10m was recently placed on Gana, after he was declared wanted by the state government.
The gang leader has been terrorising the citizens of the state for quite long now, such that he created serious fear within the state.
