Kelvin Orumor, the General Overseer of Kingdom Advancement Christian Centre in Warri, Delta State, has been reportedly shot dead by unknown gunmen suspected to be a gang of armed robbers.
Orumor was gunned down at Edjeba axis of Warri South Local Government Area on Tuesday when he walked into the hoodlums during an operation.
According to a resident of the area, the clergy was hit by a bullet during an operation by the gang at a shopping complex in a neighborhood where he was.
He was later confirmed dead at a government hospital where he was rushed to see if he could be resonated.
The source revealed, “We heard he walked into them when they were robbing a plaza. They shot him. He died before he got to the hospital.”
Every effort to reach the Delta State Police Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, proved abortive as she could not be reached at the time of filing this report.
